Invited by Dr. Hesheng Jiang, Deputy Director-General of Guangxi Provincial Science and Technology Department, a delegation of the Toulouse branch of the Association des Scientifiques et des Ingénieurs Chinois en France (ASICEF) visited Guangxi province, China, during 3 - 9 Aug. 2009. Headed by Dr. Li Ding, the delegation, also including members Drs. Han Xu, Jinwu Tao and Xiaodong He, visited Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Guangxi Branch, Insitute of Medicinal Plant, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Guangxi Botanical Garden of Medicinal Plant, and several other R&D institutes and companies.

Dr. Han Xu, director of IRIT-ARI, provided lectures on " Metabonomics and its application in plant microspore culture  in vitro " in Guangxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences and in Guangxi Botanical Garden of Medicinal Plant, both located in the city Nanning, the capital of Guangxi province.
